Mini-rugby is BACK!!!! Yes that’s right it’s back to school time and back to rugby time. Training will recommence in the coming weeks. Ahead of the big kick off we are holding two open training sessions for all Boys & Girls who would love to give rugby a go. These sessions will be open to new players and existing players. The open days will take place on the Convent School Pitch in Claremorris. Players will require a gumshield to participate in these training session.

New members are ALWAYS welcome and these two open days are an ideal way to try out rugby before registration for the new season, which takes place later in the month. The details of the open days are:

Sat Sept 15th – 10am until 11.15am, Convent School Pitch, Claremorris
Sat Sept 22nd – 10am until 11.15am, Convent School Pitch, Claremorris

The season officially begins on Sat Sept 29th and all players must be registered before they can play on this date.

Mini-rugby is open to children born between 2001 and 2006 with registration for mini and youth rugby teams taking place on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th, with time and venue to be confirmed so check back in the coming days. Registration costs for the new season will be €80 for one child, €150 for two, €200 for 3, €250 for four children and so on.

This registration will cover the 2012/13 season and also include the new Colts’ jersey for all mini-rugby players. The youth players will receive the club’s new black togs and red socks as part of their registration. Additional jerseys can be purchased from the club – €40 for children’s sizes, €45 for adults’ sizes.
