All of our mini rugby players are in action this Saturday Oct 22nd as we host a mini rugby home blitz with both Castlebar RFC and Westport RFC. Meanwhile our U10 boys team & U12 girls teams head to Heffernan Park, home of Ballina RFC for their Aviva qualifying blitzes.
Mini Rugby Home Blitz with Castlebar RFC & Westport RFC
Our U7, U8, U9, U11 & U12 boys & U10 girls host the mini rugby teams from Castlebar RFC & Westport RFC at the Convent Pitch Claremorris on Saturday morning. Games start at 10am so players should be on the pitch by 9.50am. Please ensure your child has their gumshield as the NO GUMSHIELD NO PLAY rule will be strictly enforced. We would be grateful to any parents who can help by bringing sandwiches and with catering on Saturday morning.
Also please remember our traffic management plan. To avoid traffic congestion on Saturday mornings we are asking all parents, guardians & supporters traveling to the Convent Pitch to arrive via the Old Knock Road & leave via the Castlebar Road (N60) exit. Parking is available in the Mount St. Michael Secondary School Car Park during mini rugby training & blitz days.
