Colts U15s vs Carrick-on-Shannon
The U15 Colts survived a late push from Carrick to hold on to win 37 to 31. A bright start saw Kyle Leonard score the first try with a powerful run, Joe Prendergast converted. Carrick hit back with a fine converted try. The Colts piled on the pressure in defence and it paid off when Jack Sheridan pounced on a mix up to touch down. Kyle Leonard, with the kick of the day, converted. A well worked move from the back of the scrum let Micheal Hett score in the corner.

Carrick scored a try directly after half time and this seemed to rattle the Colts who conceded another shortly thereafter. Carrick were now very much back in the game. Michael John Duffy helped steady the ship with a try, but Carrick again came up with a try of their own to keep in touch. Two penalty kicks from Kyle Leonard and Daragh Joyce kept the Colts ahead. Carrick scored a try to get back within one point. But Kyle Leonard secured the win with a quick tap penalty and another powerful run to touch down in the last play of the game.
