So our group games have drawn to a close after 7 tough rounds of action on and off the pitch it’s now semi final time. In Group 1 it turned out to be a tight affair with Fan-Taggin-Tastic topping the group on points difference from TEAM Bringit. Both of these teams are now in the cup semi finals. Why Always Us who had a number of team members going for three titles in a row have to settle for the plate along with The Chancers, while Maxwell Taggers, Wii Not Fit and Pappa’s Finest will be contesting the bowl.

Group 2 was all about one team Robe Ruckers, who won all their games and are indeed the only unbeaten team in the competition. They are joined in the cup playoffs by surprise package Team Blitzkrieg. The plate spots were filled by I’m Sexton & I Know It and Fastest Finger First, while The Good, The Tag & The F#####g Ugly, The Smurfs and Dirty Tagging Scoundrels will have their eyes on the bowl.

The semi finals of all competitions will take place on Friday August 10th, full fixture details will be announced in the coming days. This will be followed by our race night in Hanley’s Bar, Claremorris starting at 10pm. A reminder that all teams will have a game on finals night, which is scheduled for Friday August 17th culminating in the cup final game to find the Claremorris Colts RFC Tag champions of 2012.
