Claremorris Colts mini rugby had a busy Saturday last with all age groups participating in blitzes organised by Castlebar & Westport respectively. Well done to all the players & especially to the parents who came along to support the future stars of rugby in the west. Thanks also to Castlebar RFC & Westport RFC for hosting the games.
The u11 & u12 teams made the long trip to Westport on Saturday morning joining the local club and Castlebar RFC for a very competitive morning on the pitch. Both Claremorris teams played open and running rugby against strong opposition and came away feeling tired but exhilarated after their endeavours against our local rivals.
