It’s a busy weekend ahead as we kick off our pitch development fundraiser this Friday July 13th in the McWilliam park hotel. We will be launching our ‘Buy a Sod’ campaign where people will get a chance to put their name on a square of our new pitch for €50 & be entered into a draw to win some great prizes. We will be joined on the night by rugby legends George Hook, Jim Glennon, current Connacht rugby captain Gavin Duffy and Heineken cup winner Peter Bracken. There will be music and food and a few surprises along the way, so come along for a good night out.

On the Saturday 14th July we plan to hold a scrum clinic led by George Hook, with, Roly Meates. Jim Glennon and Peter Bracken attended by coaches from clubs in Connacht who coach youth rugby teams. This will also be a family day where all locals will also be invited to come along & watch the clinic, enjoy the bouncy castles, BBQ and music on offer and then meet the rugby pundits afterwards, so it should be a fun day for all.
