After a couple of weekends on the road, the Colts mini rugby teams return to the Convent Pitch on Saturday morning (5th November). Training will start at the usual time of 10:00-11:15am sharp. The weather forecast for Saturday morning is cold and dry conditions so please ensure your child comes adequately dressed for the conditions. Also don’t forget the gum shield !!

Colts Youth Rugby News

The Colts U15 team host their counterparts from Sligo RFC on Saturday afternoon in Dunmore. This is a top of the table clash and with both teams unbeaten to date there is pride and out right leadership of the U15 Pool A League at stake. The game will kick-off at 2:30pm and the team and supporters will be carpooling from the Local Car Park to Dunmore leaving at 12:45pm. The Colts U14’s will play Loughrea in their rearranged U14 Development League fixture on Sunday in Dunmore with the game kicking-off at 12pm. The Colts come into the game tied on 8 points with Loughrea and occupying second place in the league by virtue of a superior points difference over Sunday’s opponents. It promises to be a tight encounter and here’s hoping that the lads prevail over their Galway opponents. Colts Junior Rugby News

The juniors are in action on Sunday (6th October) when they make the trip to Headford, Co. Galway to play Corrib in the Connacht Rugby Junior 1C league. The game kicks-off at 2.30pm and the Colts, fresh from a fine 22-17 win over Westport two weeks ago are confident of a second league win this season.
